Strategic Human Resource Management is simply about people management at the strategic level. Books, theories, themes, ideas and concepts are all in great abundance. What is missing is the other side of the coin: how much do the real business people and not speaking about the elite class, know and understand the dynamics of managing people. Due to the lack of knowledge, companies suffer. But, it is not entirely the fault of the average business person. The knowledge of SHRM may have matured in the academic circle but has not really reached the real audience: the common business people. Because, the language, the approach and the methods have all been for the academicians. What the average business people want is the application of knowledge of Strategic Human Resource Management. Our goal will be to deal with this issue.
